He uses Felix Felicis to ensure a lucky outcome. This decision leads to the successful extraction of Slughorn's memory.

The Burial

The Ceremony The Gathering Harry, Hagrid, and Horace Slughorn gather in Hagrid's garden. Slughorn is interested in the acromantula venom. They bury Aragog in a large grave.
